Blake Tie started racing BMX at just four years old after being invited to his first club night — and from that moment, he was hooked. With natural drive and determination, Blake has quickly become one of Tauranga’s rising young riders.

He loves the adrenaline of competition and the friendships formed on and off the track. His favourite places to race include North Harbour, Mountain Raiders, Rotorua, and Invercargill, where he continues to chase A-final finishes.

Recent highlights include 12th at the 2025 Oceania Championships, 15th at the 2025 Nationals, 3rd overall in the Mountain Raiders Speed League and most recently NI5 at the 2025 North Island Titles. Blake’s goal is clear — to make every A-final he enters, with his eyes on top-3 Nationals finishes and a Worlds Final in the near future.
