Deacon Connor is one of New Zealand’s most consistent young BMX talents, having held the NZ1 plate for seven consecutive years across multiple age groups. A dedicated member of North Harbour BMX Club, he’s earned top results nationally and internationally — including Oceania #1, multiple North and South Island Titles, and NZ1 titles from 2019 through 2025.

He first discovered BMX at a local club night in Waitakere and instantly fell in love with the sport’s challenge and community. For Deacon, BMX is about pushing personal limits, travelling to new places, and building lifelong friendships.

His current goals are to master the pro straights, step up into the Junior Elite category, and ultimately reach a World Cup Final.
