Cassien Lewis is quickly establishing herself as one of New Zealand’s standout young BMX racers. Known for her speed, resilience, and determination, she’s achieved podium finishes across both BMX and pump-track events — including 2nd at Pump Track Nationals, 3rd at the World Qualifier, and 4th in the Elite category at Crankworx Christchurch (2024).

In 2024 she represented New Zealand at the UCI BMX World Championships in Copenhagen, gaining valuable international experience. Her comeback story after a major ACL injury at 14 has inspired many, earning her the 2025 National GirlBoss Award for Sport — a testament to her commitment and perseverance.

Looking ahead, Cassien’s focus is on podium finishes at the North and South Island Titles and top results at Nationals, as she works toward her ultimate goal of reaching the UCI World Championship semi-finals in Brisbane 2026.
